The Methodology
Ahlam Academy’s mission is studying, teaching, and performing folkloric, traditional, and modern dance forms from Middle Eastern, North African, Hellenic, and Turkish (MENAHT) dances… it’s all we do!
MY approach is holistic. I focus on our “Five Pillars” (pictured below) to ensure each students get the most well-rounded dance education. I feel all “Five Pillars” are essential elements to successfully learning to dance.
My program doesn’t take shortcuts. Rather, the learning process is efficient to expedite students’ progress.
Students learn much more and enjoy greater belly dance skills more quickly because of the progressive curriculum!
