Zill Lesson: 3s Alternating Dominance Over “Limping” Triple Step w/ Khaleeji Rhythm

Join Anna for a segment from Ahlam Academy’s Foundations classes where the beginner’s belly dance class learns how to play the 3 pattern (aka gallop) using a “tek” finger cymbal strike. This drill features alternating hand dominance with Zills, where the pattern is played beginning with the right hand, then switched to the left hand. All that is then layered over a Khaleegi-style “limping” triple step accompanied by “khaleeji” rhythm.
